Why did we sponsor Agnes?
Agnes’s family could not afford to provide her with further education. Because Kids to School believes that education is the key to a better life, the foundation gave her the opportunity to attend teacher training college, enabling her to build an independent future for herself.
Agnes graduated in 2012 and started working as a secundary school teacher in Loitokitok. She gave birth to a daughter. Agnes decided to pursue a Bachelor’s degree at her own expense. We are delighted that, with support from Kids to School, Agnes was able to gain the educational foundation that enabled her to build an independent future for herself and her child.
