Clare’s dream was to become a nurse.

Why did we sponsor Clare?
Clare’s mother tried to earn money for her family through casual jobs. Her father, the family’s sole breadwinner, died in 2017 while Clare was in her second year of secondary school. As a result, it was not always possible to pay her school fees on time. Nevertheless, Clare was able to sit her final secondary school examinations in 2019 and passed with a C, despite having outstanding school fee arrears. In 2020, she worked to repay these debts so that she could obtain the secondary school certificate required to continue her education.
Thanks to her strong academic results, Clare was accepted into her dream program, Operating Theatre Nursing, at an accredited college. Clare has consistently demonstrated determination, motivation, and a willingness to work hard. For this reason, Kids to School has been sponsoring her since January 2023.
Clare successfully finished her study in December 2025. Thanks to her education Clare now has a foundation and better opportunities to build an independent future for herself.
