Daniel dreamed of studying ICT in order to break the cycle of poverty for himself and his family, and to be able to contribute to the community.

Why did we sponsor Daniel?
Due to the unrest and violence that followed the 2007 elections, Daniel’s family was severely affected and lost everything. As a result, they had to relocate from Kisumu to Kiambu. Despite living in poverty, they managed to keep both Daniel and his brother in secondary school.
Daniel graduated in 2013 with good results. However, without financial support, he was unable to continue his education. Kids to School gave him the opportunity to pursue his dream of studying ICT. The sponsorship started in January 2019.
After three years, Daniel graduated at the end of 2022. He is currently working and is very happy that he is capable of supporting his family financially. He has done a study Web Design, but says there is always still much to learn!
