Why did we sponsor Michelle?
Michelle is the oldest child in a family with four children. Due to lack of money, she was unable to start further education after high school. Because a higher education increases her chances of building a life independently, Kids to School has been sponsoring her studies Business Administration at the University of Iloilo since September 2018. Michelle finished her final examinations in July 2021. The official graduation ceremony was in 2022.
How is Michelle doing now?
After graduating, she worked in a call center. At the moment she works online aa a virtual assistent. She is single, breadwinner for her familiy and proud to have built her own home. Apart from this, she also manages a small pineapple plantation, a sign of her growing independence.
