Why do we sponsor Asili?
Asili’s father is unable to afford her education. He earns very little as a security guard at a primary school. He has been raising her on his own because her mother has not lived at home since Asili was three years old due to poor mental health. One of the primary school teachers took her into his family, and another teacher provided support so that Asili could attend secondary school in 2018. She graduated in 2022 with good results.
Because of her mother’s illness, Asili wants to help and take care of sick people. She expects to complete her nursing training in 2027.
