Why do we sponsor David?
David’s mother has to manage a small farm on her own because his father is in prison, but the income it generates is not enough to support the family. After completing primary school, David enrolled in secondary school, but due to the difficult situation at home, he had to drop out after the first semester. Kids to School would like to give him the opportunity to continue his secondary education and work towards a brighter future.
David restarted secondary school in January 2024, beginning again in the first year, this time at a boarding school. Being away from home allows him to focus better on his studies and provides a more stable learning environment. He expects to complete his secondary school education and obtain his diploma in 2028.
