Why do we sponsor Kelvin?
Kelvin and his sister lived with relatives together with their ill mother. They were entirely dependent on their extended family for both their daily needs and their education. Ever since primary school, Kelvin has loved reading and was consistently one of the top students in his class. He was eager to attend secondary school so that he could one day become an engineer.
To give him the opportunity to develop his talents and build an independent future, Kids to School began sponsoring his secundary school education in 2020. Kelvin completed secondary school with good results at the end of 2023. However, instead of pursuing engineering, he chose to study for a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. He wants to pursue a career that enables him to make a meaningful contribution to his community. Kids to School is pleased to support him in building his future and has therefore continued his sponsorship.
Kelvin expects to graduate in 2027. He wants to make a meaningful contribution to improve the lives of others and to help create opportunities for future generations.
