Why do we sponsor Victoria?

Victoria’s father works on the family’s small farm, while her mother earns a modest income through beadwork. To pay for Victoria’s secondary school education, her parents sold part of their land. Even then, they often had to rely on financial support from relatives and friends. Victoria completed secondary school with an A- grade, earning admission to university to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Medicine and Surgery, the course she had always dreamed of studying. She applied for a government scholarship but was unsuccessful. After reapplying, she never received a response. Eventuallt she was able to begin her studies in September 2024 thanks to the support of her local church, which paid her tuition fees for the first year. Recognizing both her academic excellence and her determination to pursue her dream, Kids to School began sponsoring Victoria in September 2025, enabling her to continue her university education.

Victoria expects to graduate in 2028. She has big dreams for her community, including the startup of health care agency providing people with good quality health care at a minimal fee.
